Collective X is on a mission to reshape South Africa’s digital future — and we’re inviting forward-thinking organisations to join us.
Our outcomes-based co-payment programme partners with employers to co-create sustainable pathways into the digital economy. From shared ICT competency frameworks (aligned to SFIA) to inclusive hiring and real workplace learning, our model is designed to address critical market failures and build a strong, entry-level ICT talent pipeline.
Our co-payment programme offers an innovative financing solution to help employers develop and retain work-ready digital talent — while reducing the cost and risk of hiring inexperienced candidates.
How it works
We have committed R50 million to co-invest with employers in structured, outcomes-driven work-integrated learning (WIL) opportunities that accelerate access for entry-level ICT graduates and build a sustainable pipeline of future-fit digital talent across South Africa.
- Co-payment model: We contribute a portion of the costs associated with employing and training entry-level ICT graduates
- Work-integrated learning (WIL): A blend of formal training and practical, on-the-job experience hosted within your organisation
- Aligned with SFIA framework: All training is mapped to the globally recognised Skills Framework for the Information Age (SFIA), ensuring industry relevance and measurable outcomes
- Outcomes-based funding: Our financial support is linked to key milestones and the demonstration of competency — so investment leads to real results
